Police are appealing for witnesses after a cyclist was found by the roadside with serious injuries in Wilmslow.
At 7.25pm on Friday 4 November emergency services were called to the scene on Dean Road, near its junction of Welland Road after reports of a man with a serious head injury.
The 35-year-old man is now recovering at home.
Officers are investigating the circumstances and are making a number of enquiries.
PC Rowan Burt said: “We’re trying establish how the cyclist sustained the serious injuries and we’re looking at whether he was in collision with a vehicle. We believe the incident may have happened sometime between 7pm and 7.30pm on Dean Road near its junction with Welland Road before a passer-by came across him.
“I’d urge anyone who may have been in the area between these times and witnessed a collision between a bike and a vehicle, or has dash cam footage, to contact police.”
