Detectives investigating a series of burglaries in Northwich have released a CCTV image of a man they are looking to speak to.
Over recent weeks officers have received reports of four burglaries in the Hartford area of the town.
All of the incidents have taken place in the early hours of the morning, and have occurred at addresses on Priory Way, Chester Road and Hodge Lane.
Enquiries in relation to the incident have been ongoing and as part of their investigation officers have now released a CCTV image of a man they are looking to identify.
Police Constable Dean Butterworth, of Northwich Proactive CID said:
“I understand the concerns these incidents are likely to cause, and I want to reassure residents that we are committed to doing all we can to identify the person responsible.
“As part of our ongoing enquiries I’m keen to identify the man in the CCTV footage as I believe he may be able to assist our investigation.
“The man is wearing distinctive gloves and a backpack and I would urge him, or anyone who thinks they may know who he is, to contact the team here at Northwich.”
