Officers investigating reports of an assault in Macclesfield have released a CCTV appeal of a man they are looking to speak to.
At around 2.30am on Sunday 27 August, police were made aware that a man had been assaulted outside the Cave Bar, on Mill Street, Macclesfield.
The 18-year-old man from Buxton, lost consciousness following the incident and was taken to hospital. Thankfully he has now recovered from his injuries.
A 30-year-old man from Oldham has already been arrested on suspicion of assault in relation to the incident. He has since been released on police bail.
As part of ongoing enquires officers have now released a CCTV image of second man, who is possibly called ‘Kyle’, who they are looking to speak to.
Police Constable Lisa Jones, who is investigating the case, said:
“Enquiries are currently ongoing and as part of our investigation we would like to speak to the man pictured in the CCTV image as we believe he may hold vital information.
“If anyone knows the identity of the man, we urge you to get in touch with us. I would also like to appeal directly to the man to come forward."
