Officers have issued a CCTV image following the theft of a wallet in Northwich.
It is believed that one of the cards from the wallet was then used to purchase goods from a shop in Northwich.
Following several enquiries, officers have now issued a CCTV image of a woman that they would like to speak to.
Police Constable Kieron Lythgoe said:
“Enquiries in relation to this incident are ongoing and as part of our investigation we are keen to speak the woman in the footage as she may hold vital information.
“I would urge anyone who recognises the woman, or the woman himself, to contact us.”
