Division Two – August 21:
Ashton-on-Mersey 122-6 (35; Amanda Gettins 55*, Daisy White 4-13, Taylor De Vries 2-13) (7pts)
Leyland 123-6 (20; Olivia Cunliffe 44, E Hillier 3-23, Gettins 2-33) (25pts)
Amanda Gettins got Ashton off to a good start, but Leyland recovered to record a seventh win of the year, which temporarily takes them back to top spot.
Division Three West – August 28:
Porthill Park Northern Stars 145-6 (20; Ella Sharpe 86, Lucy McCarten 2-34) (25pts)
Chester Boughton Hall 2nd XI 105-6 (20; Gemma Rose 53*, Izzy Higgins 2-5, Peyton Hulme 2-17) (8pts)
Chester Boughton Hall 2nd XI 90-6 (20; Gemma Rose 30, Evie Sharpe 2-24) (7pts)
Porthill Park Northern Stars 94-4 (17.5; Peyton Hulme 49, Lucy McCarten 2-12) (25pts)
Two more relatively comfortable wins confirmed the Northern Stars as champions of Division Three West for 2022. After losing their first game, the Potteries side have gone from strength to strength, and there were more excellent performances on show here.
Division Three East – August 25:
Stockport Georgians 2nd XI 69-7 (15; Louisa Boyle 34, Zoe Cuthill 4-7, Amelia Buckley 2-4) (6pts)
Greenfield 70-1 (11; Megan Russell 32)
After a decent start, Georgians struggled against the bowling of Zoe Cuthill and Amelia Buckley in the later overs, with Greenfield eventually running out comfortable winners.
Division Four – August 23:
Langley 68-4 (16; Carolyne Jones 17, Naz Hancioglu 2-3) (8pts)
Lindow 2nd XI 71-6 (13.2; Alison Hodge 24, Charlotte Nadin 2-10, Claire Thorley 2-13) (25pts)
Lindow seconds became the first team to clinch a divisional title this year. Langley have also had a good season and pushed the Wilmslow club all the way here, with regular wickets falling in the run chase once the opening stand of 38 had been broken.
