Congleton In Bloom are looking forward to making areas of Mossley even cleaner and greener at the next town tidy on Saturday 7th October.
Handy helpers will meet at Mossley Village Hall, Leek Road from 10am-12noon.
Residents of all ages and abilities are invited to come along, the group welcomes previous litter pickers and looks forward to meeting new volunteers too! There will be a variety of activities for people to join in with, including litter picking, cleaning litter bins and other street furniture and weeding. Volunteers can do as little or as much as they can during this time. No experience is necessary and all equipment will be provided.
Congleton In Bloom Chair, Cllr David Brown said:
“The North West In Bloom judges inspected Congleton at the beginning of August and were really impressed with the floral features and the overall cleanliness of the town. We eagerly await the results of the competition which will be announced on 18 and 19 October. Thank you to all the wonderful volunteers who turned up at the town tidies and the green fingered gardeners who made town look blooming marvellous. Congleton is a pleasant place to live but these dedicated Tidy Days really do make a difference to keep the high standards throughout the year.”
