Knutsford Little Theatre are pleased to announce their new Autumn Programme as they return in September with the Modern Classic “Educating Rita”.
When opening a season it’s always an exciting period for any theatre and with Covid providing the theatre with a difficult few years, we are pleased to be back with a bang. We are hoping to wow the community with the Willy Russell Classic “Educating Rita”, a play made famous by Michael Caine and Julie Walters who starred in the film of the same name.
The theatre couldn’t get Julie or Michael to reprise their roles, but we are pleased to bring the essence of Rita to life with such passion and zest that we can guarantee a very special evening out.
Rachel Perrin directs Paul Baston and Cheryl Chamberlain in the roles of Frank and Rita and says “It has been so lovely to direct two people that are so passionate about their roles and have worked hard for the last 4 weeks. I couldn’t be more proud of them and I can guarantee audiences that they will laugh and cry along with Rita and Frank as we go on Rita's journey to complete her learning of everything”
Tickets are available from our Website and are £10 each. We are also pleased to return our "buy one get one free" night on Wednesday and with a fully licensed and reasonably priced bar what more do you need for a great night out in Knutsford?
