Officers from Cheshire Police have launched an investigation following a fatal collision in Northwich.
At around 12.30am on Tuesday 17 March police were called to reports of a collision on the A559 Northwich Road in Whitley involving a black Seat Altea Sport travelling towards Stretton, a grey BMW travelling in the opposite direction along with a black Vauxhall Corsa.
The driver of the Seat, a 24-year-old man from the Middlewich area, died a short time later.
A 46-year-old man, the driver of the BMW, who is from the Warrington area, was taken to hospital with serious injuries where he passed away.
The driver of the Vauxhall Corsa, a 17-year-old man, sustained minor injuries.
Their next of kin have been informed.
Officers are now appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the collision or may have any dashcam footage of the vehicles before or after the incident to come forward.
