Knutsford Town Council is bringing a brand-new trail event to the town this festive season. Running from 14th to 20th December, the trail is designed to add some festive cheer and sits alongside the council’s Bunny Hop and Pumpkin Path.
The free trail will see families scour the town centre for 9 Christmas themed stickers in shop windows to find the hidden letters. The completed entry forms can then be posted at designated points to be entered into a prize draw to win one of three Knutsford vouchers, which can be spent at over 50 town centre businesses including family hot spots Mr Simms Sweet Shop, Hal Whittaker’s Toy Shop, Stationery House and many more.
Alex Brown, Events Officer at the Town Council, said: “We are thrilled to be bringing a new Christmas themed trail to the town this year. On the back of the overwhelmingly positive feedback for our Covid-19 friendly Pumpkin Path we thought what better way to add some festive cheer than to launch a special Christmas version where families can once again enjoy some safe fun. We’ve even got a few prizes up for grabs again! The trail will run in exactly the same way as the Pumpkin Path over a week, so anyone who enjoyed that event will know exactly what to expect.”
The free trail will run for a full seek, allowing families to enjoy the trail at their leisure in the same way as the Halloween event. Participating businesses will display the trail sticker all week, so families can complete the trail as early or late in the day as they like. All completed entry forms will be entered into the prize draw.
Families will also be able to enjoy spectacular Christmas displays which will be installed in shop windows, as well as the town’s beautiful Christmas lights and shop Christmas trees adding a festive atmosphere to the town this Christmas.
More details regarding the trail can be found on the Town Council’s social media pages. For any enquiries regarding the trail, email enquiries@knutsfordtowncouncil.gov.uk or call 01565 653 929.
