The organisers of Congleton Pride are inviting local businesses to attend a free sponsors’ evening to find out more about the charity’s activities and the benefits of becoming a valued sponsor.
The event at Radley & Co at the Lion & Swan in Congleton will take place from 7pm until 9pm on Tuesday 23 April 2024.
During the sponsors’ evening, hosted by Pear Hospitality, there will be a short presentation as guests enjoy canapes and a glass of something sparkling. Businesses can chat to members of Congleton Pride’s sponsorship team and take part in an exciting auction for the event’s lead sponsor.
Businesses can register for their free ticket to the evening at:

Malcolm Pope, Managing Director of Loguru Ltd and chair of Congleton Pride, said:
“If you believe in equality and diversity within your business, then your goals are already aligned with ours.
“But supporting Congleton Pride is about more than showcasing your values; we might be able to benefit your business in more tangible ways, for instance, driving custom to retailers and hospitality businesses, or recommendations through our social media platforms for other businesses in the area.
“Thousands attend Congleton Pride every year, and as 2024 is our fifth birthday, we are expecting even bigger crowds.”
“We’d love to hear from businesses large and small from across Congleton - your support can help make the town a safer, kinder, and more equal place for all.”
James Ede, Veterinary Director at Millies Vets and 2023 event sponsor said:
“Being the Congleton Pride Event Sponsor was a brilliant investment to increase the profile of my new veterinary practice.
“It was not just about sponsoring the event; it also gave my business exposure all through the year.
“Supporting a charity that has at its core making Congleton a safe and welcoming town for all, was really important to me.”
