Due to the new lockdown and its inevitable restrictions, The Rossendale Trust has altered things a little this year for its annual Christmas Market.
Instead this year a virtual market packed full of stall holders including - artisans, crafts people and businesses is being hosted on the charities website! All supporting the charity at a time when ‘normal fundraising’ is challenging for charities across the region.
Sue Heaven (Head of Fundraising - Rossendale Trust) said, “I can't quite believe we are in Christmas mode already, but I do love our Virtual Christmas Market and it is going to be the perfect way to shop this year. It’s a great way of getting that perfect gift, whilst supporting the work we do for people with learning disabilities”.
From November 14th to 29th the virtual doors will be open to browse gifts and support the Rossendale Trust on their website at www.rossendaletrust.org/xmasmarket. With a raffle & prizes from the stall holders, there’s something for everyone!
“Being virtual means we can go bigger than ever before! We are delighted to be bringing you a selection of the UK’s finest businesses, all selling in our marketplace. You can shop from the comfort of your home for a whole array of unique and exclusive gifts from handmade jewellery to children’s books, clothing to pottery, handmade chocolates to cosmetics, the list goes on. All posted to your door”.
Based in Cheshire, the Rossendale Trust provides care and support for adults with learning and physical disabilities.
