Officers have charged a man following a disturbance in Crewe.
David Evanson, 38, of Barn Croft Road, Crewe was arrested and subsequently charged with affray, assault, assault of an emergency worker, causing unnecessary suffering to a protected animal (police dog) and four counts of criminal damage.
He was remanded in custody to appear at Warrington Magistrates' Court on Tuesday 9th August.
The charges relate to an incident on Middlewich Street on Sunday 7th August.
