Detectives investigating a serious assault at an address in Crewe have charged a man in relation to the incident.
John Healy, of no fixed abode, Crewe, was arrested on Monday 11 October.
The 43-year-old has since been charged with section 18 assault.
The charge relates to an incident at an address on Underwood Lane, Crewe on Tuesday 5 October.
The victim in the case, a 53-year-old local man, remains in hospital at the current time in a stable condition.
Healy has been remanded in custody and is set to appear at Chester Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday 13 October.
