Knutsford Town Mayor Andrew Malloy will be finishing his extended mayoral year with a challenge on November 7th. The Town Mayor will formally open 14 shops that have either opened, moved or renovated their premises since lockdown.
Knutsford Town Mayor, said “To say this has been a difficult year for retail would be an understatement. Although we are not ‘out of the woods’ yet there has been some positive news in Knutsford. It has been lovely to see new shops opening in the town centre and others grow their businesses to larger or improved their existing premises. We need to celebrate our Knutsford shops – it is what makes our town unique and that is what this afternoon is all about”
The shops The Mayor will be visiting on the afternoon of the 7th November are as follows:
- The Market Butcher
- Plastic Free Weigh
- Slipped Discs
- Diamond Nails
- The Prescription Service
- Copper 29
- Rohan
- Kanoa Living
- Sofas and Stuff
- Crate Cheshire
- Holly Johnson Designs
- Hay's Travel
- Not a box
- CarrotBananaPeach
November 7th is also hosting Flash Fashion Knutsford and there is free parking from 10am in Silk Mill, King and Princess Street, car parks, so this will be a lovely start to the festive shopping season.
