Town Mayor invites everyone to his Civic Parade and Service

Residents of Knutsford are invited to come out to see their Town Mayor, Cllr Colin Banks, at his Civic Sunday Parade on Sunday 30th June

The Mayor of Knutsford will be processing through the streets at this annual “introducing the mayor” event.

The parade assembles at 1.45pm at King Street Car Park and sets off at 14:00pm processing along King Street, Minshull Street, Princess Street, Church Walk and across the Moor before heading up to St Cross Church where the Civic Service will take place led by Reverends Paul Deakin and Steven Benson.

The parade will be led by Knutsford Squadron Air Training Corps band and on parade will be local community representatives and visiting dignitaries from across cheshire. The community is welcome to join the parade!

Town Mayor Cllr Banks said:

“I am very much looking forward to Civic Sunday this year. Hoping the weather holds out for the parade, and that we can keep up with the Air Cadets. The service in church will be an inclusive community event for people of all faiths or none”.

During his term of office, Cllr Banks is raising money for Just Drop In and The Welcome, and he will be hosting a wide variety of fundraisers during his term.
