Officers from Crewe local policing unit have charged two men from Nottingham in relation to shoplifting offences in the town.
At 3.12pm on Wednesday 10th September, police were called to reports of shoplifting at the Boots Store on Grand Junction Retail Park in Crewe.
The caller reported that approximately £250 worth of items had been stolen from the store.
Officers attended and a silver Audi was stopped on Earle Street in relation to the incident.
The occupants of the car, two men, were both arrested.
Alis Ciungu, 20, and Nicoli Fruntasu, 26, both of Merchant Street, Nottingham, have since been charged with shoplifting.
The pair have been bailed and are set to appear at Crewe Magistrates Court on Thursday 23rd October.
