Officers investigating an assault in Crewe have charged a woman in relation to the incident.
Caitlin Broomhall, 23, of Elm Drive, Crewe was arrested on Sunday 21 April.
She has since been charged with section 18 assault. She appeared at Chester Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday 23 April where she was remanded in custody until a hearing at Chester Crown Court on Tuesday 21 May.
The charges relate to reports of an assault in Elm Drive, Crewe, at 6.03am on Saturday 21 April in which a 20-year-old woman was taken to hospital with a serious injury.
She has since been discharged.
