The Congleton Hydro & Solar Community Trust has announced the availability of £7500 in community grants for 2024.
These grants are aimed at supporting innovative projects that promote environmental sustainability and education, with a particular focus on engaging young people in science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics.
Applications are welcome from 'green champions,' aspiring engineers, scientists, environmentalists, and anyone with a helpful solution to an environmental or educational problem. Whether your project is large or small, if it aims to protect the environment, promote renewable energy, encourage sustainability, or advance community development, we want to hear from you.
Guidelines for Proposals:
- Projects that enhance understanding of environmental protection and improvement.
- Initiatives that popularise renewable and green energy practices.
