Two men have been charged in connection with an aggravated burglary in Crewe.
Bradley Brookshaw, 20, of Badger Avenue, Crewe, and Stuart Western, 37, of Nevis Drive, Crewe were arrested and subsequently charged with aggravated burglary.
The pair were remanded in custody and are set appear at Chester Magistrates’ Court today, Thursday 15 September.
The charges follow an aggravated burglary which took place on Monday 5 September at an address on Rope Street, Wistaston.

Detectives investigating an aggravated burglary in Crewe have arrested two men in connection with the incident.
A 20-year-old man and a 37-year-old man from Crewe were arrested today, Wednesday 14 September on suspicion of aggravated burglary.
They are currently being held in police custody and are assisting detectives with their enquiries.
The arrests follow an aggravated burglary at an address on Rope Street, Wistaston, which occurred at around 7.40pm on Monday 5 September.
Detective Sergeant Richard Johnson said: “I hope that this morning’s arrests provide reassurance to the local community, demonstrating that we are committed to doing all we can to tackle this type of crime.
“We have followed a number of extensive enquiries which has led to two local men being arrested, however this investigation remains very much ongoing.
"While our enquiries continue, I urge anyone who was in the area at the time and believes they may have witnessed the incident, or may have seen anything suspicious or unusual, to get in touch.
"The same goes for anyone with any CCTV or dashcam footage that may be relevant to our investigation.”
