Police are appealing for witnesses following a collision involving a car and a cyclist on Standingstone Road near Macclesfield Forest.
Two teenagers were cycling along the road at around 3.15pm on 23 April when a car coming in the opposite direction appeared to cross onto their side of the carriageway and collided with the 14-year-old boy, who then collided with the 16-year-old boy.
The 16-year-old fell off his bike causing him serious injuries.
The driver of the vehicle which is described as being a light blue colour didn’t stop at the scene.
PC Alex Norton said: “While we are making a number of enquiries to locate the vehicle and driver, I’d urge the driver of the car to get in touch so that we can establish the circumstances of the collision.”
