Detectives are appealing for information and video footage following a burglary at a convenience store in Weaverham.
At around 12.30am today, Monday 16 June, three unknown offenders deliberately rammed the Tesco Express store on Northwich Road, with a silver 4x4.
Once inside the store the men, who were all wearing balaclavas and dark clothing, stole a quantity of cash.
They then fled the scene in the silver 4x4, travelling in the direction of Acton Bridge.
Enquiries in relation to the incident are ongoing and officers are keen to hear from anyone with any information which may aid the investigation.
Detective Sergeant John Lyons, of Northwich Proactive CID, said:
“We are currently following several lines of enquiry and as part of this we want to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information which may aid our investigation.
“We’re also keen to hear from anyone who believes they may have any CCTV or dashcam footage of the offenders arriving at or leaving the scene.
“If you have any information or footage that may help investigation and have not already spoken to the police about the incident, please get in touch.”
