The ever-popular Arley Hall Shopping Spectacular, which marks the start of Christmas shopping for many, is going online! Taking place from 17-19th November it will once again be supporting The Joshua Tree children’s cancer charity.
The Arley Hall Shopping Spectacular has raised a significant amount of funding for The Joshua Tree in the past four years and hopes to continue to raise money for the charity during such uncertain times. The unique shopping experience will be brought to you in the comfort of your own home, where you will be able to browse and purchase luxury goods that would normally be at the Arley Christmas Shopping Spectacular.
The event is proudly sponsored by Manchester’s Creamline Dairies, a company that has been supporting local communities across the North West for over 75 years, who along with the Arley Hall Shopping Spectacular Committee, a team of dedicated volunteers, are passionate about making this year’s event truly outstanding! In joining in the event we hope to help offset the significant shortfall in the funds required to support families affected by childhood cancers. Sadly Covid-19 has meant the charity’s major fundraising events have had to be cancelled so we hope you will join us, albeit virtually, for a Shopping Spectacular to remember!
Tickets can be purchased for £10 each with automatic entry into the raffle. The entire cost of your ticket plus 10% of everything you spend at the virtual Fair will go directly to the charity so Christmas shopping can be enjoyed in the knowledge that it is supporting a fantastic cause.

Arley Hall Shopping Spectacular
The Arley Hall Shopping Spectacular was set up in 1991 by a committee including Lady Ashbrook in support of local children's charities and it has continued to evolve since it began. Today, this popular shopping Fair exhibits over 60 hand-picked stalls and attracts over 1,500 visitors to Arley Hall. 2019 saw another successful fair in aid of The Joshua Tree, a local charity that supports families across Cheshire and the North West who are affected by childhood cancer.
The Joshua Tree
Children’s cancer charity, The Joshua Tree was founded in 2006 by Lynda and David Hill after their son was diagnosed with leukaemia and discovered a distinct lack in support services for all family members during the traumatic experience of childhood cancer.
The focus remains at the heart of the charity, to continue to offer support to the whole family, from diagnosis, through treatment and beyond, as specifically recognising that post-treatment can be a challenging time, when families are having to adapt to their `new normal` and the charity offers support to help bridge the gap that’s left when the safety net of treatment ends.
