Seven Springs based in Stockport has received a £1,000 funding boost, as part of Benefact Group’s Movement for Good Awards to support the vital work they do in the area.
For the sixth year running, Benefact Group’s Movement for Good Awards is giving away over £1million to charities across the year and invites members of the public to nominate causes close to their hearts.
Seven Springs is an outdoor activity centre providing good quality accommodation for young people. It is set in inspirational scenery on the edge of the Peak District National Park. They don’t just run activities; they create fantastic memories filled with fun and adventure. Visitors to their 32 acres site include rainbows, brownies, guides, rangers, scouts, school and charities, Duke of Edinburgh award groups and other youth organisations.

Benefact Group has donated over £200million to charitable causes since 2014 and last year was recognised as the third biggest corporate giver in the UK1. The organisation aims to reach £250million in donations by 2025.

About the Movement for Good Awards:
- Benefact Group’s Movement for Good Awards is giving away over £1million to help charities change lives for the better.
- £370,000 will be donated in £1,000 grants throughout the year. £250,000 will also be given away in £5,000 special grants, and up to £500,000 will be given in larger amounts over the course of the year.
- The £1,000 awards are open to all UK-registered charities, not-for-profit organisations, or community interest companies. Anyone can nominate at any time for the chance to receive £1,000.
