Police are appealing for witnesses following an aggravated burglary at a flat in Twinnies Road, Wilmslow.
At 2.25am on Monday 17 May police were called to the flat following reports that two men had broken into the property by smashing a window and threatened the two occupants with a knife.
They then fled in a car which they abandoned in Wallingford Road before fleeing toward the nearby estate.
DI Duncan Gouck said: “I’d like to reassure residents that following extensive enquiries in the area two men have been arrested and are in custody helping police with their enquiries. We are continuing to appeal for anyone with information to contact us, whether that’s CCTV, dash cam footage or any information you may have that will help us.”
Anyone with information should contact Cheshire Police on 101 or via the website, quoting IML 989952.
