Detectives have issued CCTV images following a theft at an antiques shop in Northwich.
At sometime between 1.19pm and 1.34pm on Sunday 1 August, unknown offenders are believed to have entered the shop in Blakemere Village and approached a cabinet containing stock.
A large quantity of pocket and wrist watches were then taken.
Officers have now issued CCTV still images of two men they would like to speak to in connection with the incident.
DC Claire Heatley said: “This was a brazen theft where a large number of items totalling approximately £2,500 were taken during daylight hours.
“A number of enquiries have been underway since the incident and as part of these enquiries, we are looking to speak to the men depicted in the CCTV as we believe that they could assist us with our investigation.
“If you know the men, or the men themselves, we urge you to contact us – the same goes for anyone with any information in relation to the theft or may have seen these items being sold on.”
