Detectives from Northwich Beat Team have charged a man in connection with a number of offences across the town.
Shaun Kelly was arrested on Monday 7 February by detectives investigating incidents in Acton Bridge and Hartford.
The 35-year-old of Beech Grove, Weaverham, has since been charged with two counts of burglary, theft from a motor vehicle and five counts of fraud by false representation.
Kelly has been remanded in custody and is set to appear at South Cheshire Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday 8 February.
The charges relate to the following offences –
- Both burglary offences relate to incidents at an address on Warrington Road, Acton Bridge. The offences occurred between 7 -13 January and 19 January and 5 February.
- The theft from a motor vehicle relates to an offence on 4 January when a vehicle was broken into at the Grange Pavilion on Northwich Road, Hartford
- The fraud offences relate to five incidents which occurred on 4/1/2022 where stolen cards were used in five separate shops in the Northwich area.
