Six neighbours from Northwich will kick off the weekend in style after each winning a share of £210,000 all thanks to their postcode.
CW9 8TQ was announced as a winner with People’s Postcode Lottery on Friday 3rd September. Five of the neighbours took home £30,000 each with the final winner netting £60,000 as they play with two tickets.
The winners chose to remain anonymous or were unavailable to collect their prize cheques via video call.
People’s Postcode Lottery ambassador Judie McCourt sent her congratulations to the winners, she said: “A massive congratulations for our winners today in Northwich. I’m sure they’ll be planning some treats and celebrations this weekend!”
People’s Postcode Lottery costs £10 a month to play and there are guaranteed winners every day. People play with their chosen postcode and are automatically entered into all draws.
A minimum of 33% of ticket sales goes directly to charities and players of People’s Postcode Lottery have helped raise over £750 million to date for thousands of good causes across Britain and internationally.
This draw was promoted on behalf of Postcode Animal Trust which supports organisations working to promote animal welfare and conservation with regular grant funding. Supported charities include Battersea Dogs and Cats Home, Cats Protection and PDSA.
