IPG Health Medical Communications, a global medical marketing agency network with an office hub in Macclesfield, has recently received a Princess Royal Training Award.
Local MP, David Rutley, met with Rebecca Douglas, Group Programme Director, during their celebration event, to congratulate the team on their prestigious award.
The Princess Royal Training Awards recognise organisations that demonstrate exceptional commitment to learning and development. David was pleased to hear how IPG Health’ Medical Communications’ early career training program, Fuel (Future Experts and Leaders), received the award for delivering sustainable training to new recruits in the healthcare communications sector.
During the event, David met with trainees who have taken part in the award-winning programme and heard first-hand how it has developed their skills and prepared them for the next steps in their career. Ms Douglas explained to David that IPG Health Medical Communications introduced Fuel in 2021 to equip trainees with the skills, experiences, and networks needed to succeed in the world of work. Over 120 associates have taken part in the programme so far, which can be accessed remotely or in one of the five UK offices, such as Macclesfield.
Speaking after the visit, David said:
“IPG Health Medical Communications should be very proud to receive this prestigious award. It is a fantastic achievement for this Macclesfield business and highlights the impressive work they have been doing for their trainees starting out in their career. I wish the team continued success as the training programme expands.”
