The Mayor of Knutsford, Cllr Bryan Hartley, is inviting the Knutsford community to join his Civic Sunday Parade and Service on Saturday 13th July.
This annual tradition is a chance for the community to come together to celebrate Knutsford as the new town mayor is introduced to the town.
The parade assembles at 14:00 will set off from King Street Car Park at 14:15, led by The City of Chester Brass Band, and will make its way to St Vincent’s church for a 14:30pm service, led by Father David, the Mayor’s Chaplain. Refreshments will be served after the service, kindly provided and hosted by the Knutsford Catenians and the St Vincent’s Church ladies group.
Whether you’d like to walk in the parade, attend the church service, or just watch from the sidelines and enjoy the atmosphere – everyone is very welcome.
Town Mayor Cllr Bryan Hartley said:
“I am very much looking forward to Civic Sunday and I hope to see as many people as possible- it would also be nice if the sun joined us”.
During his term of office, Cllr Hartley is raising money for East Cheshire Hospice and Knutsford in Bloom, and he will be hosting a wide variety of fundraisers during his term.
