Detectives are appealing for witnesses and video footage following a burglary at a convenience store in Wilmslow.
At around 10.40pm on Thursday 11 January, two unknown offenders approached the Co-op store at the petrol station on Altrincham Road, Wilmslow.
The pair forced open the shutter and smashed a window at the front of the shop. They then entered the building and forced open the tills before taking a quantity of cash and leaving the scene.
The first suspect believed to be a white man, he was wearing a balaclava and a cream hood covering his head, he also had a black coat, black gloves, black trousers, and black shoes.
The second suspect was also wearing a black balaclava, black coat and black trousers, along with blue trainers with a white sole.
Detective Constable Steven Kaminski said:
“Enquiries in relation to this incident are in the early stages and we are doing all we can to identify the people responsible.
“As part of our investigation I’m keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time and believes that they may have seen anything suspicious.
“I’d also ask residents in the area to check their CCTV or video doorbell footage to see if they have anything which may aid our investigation.
“The same goes for any motorists with any dashcam footage.”
