Police are appealing for witnesses and video footage following a fatal collision in Allostock, near Northwich.
At around 9.40pm on Sunday 5th July, police were called to reports of a collision on Holmes Chapel Road, in Allostock.
Officers attended and found a grey Vauxhall Corsa had collided with a tree.
Sadly, the front seat passenger, an 18-year-old man from Northwich, sustained critical injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. His family have been informed and they are being supported by specialist officers.
The driver of the car, an 18-year-old man from Davenham, also sustained serious injuries. He was taken to the Royal Stoke Hospital where his condition is currently described as critical.
A rear seat passenger, a 17-year-old boy from Northwich, was also injured. He was taken to hospital where his condition is described as stable.
Detective Sergeant Iain Condliffe, of the Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said:
“This was a tragic incident and as we work to establish the exact circumstances of what happened, we are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident to get in touch with us.
“The same goes for anyone who may happen to have any dashcam footage or any further information which could aid our enquiries.“
