Officers investigating reports of an indecent exposure in Crewe have released a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to in relation to the incident.
On Sunday 12 May, at approximately 7.20am, it was reported that a man had exposed himself to a woman on Sydney Road, Crewe.
The suspect was described as a white man, aged in his 20s, with a local accent, and dark brown, curly hair. He was riding a bright blue/green bicycle.
Officers have now released a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to.
DC Lauren Constable said:
“Firstly, we would like to reassure members of the public that we take reports of indecent exposure extremely seriously and we are exploring all lines of enquiry to identify the person responsible.
“We have now released a CCTV image of a man we would like to talk to in relation to this incident as we believe he may hold vital information.
“If anyone recognises this man or has any information on his whereabouts, please get in touch with us. We would also like to appeal directly to the man pictured to contact us.
“People should never be made to feel afraid while simply going about their daily life and if anyone has any concerns, please get in touch.”
