Detectives investigating a burglary at a bar in Northwich have charged a man in relation to the incident.
At 2.30pm on Friday 6th March, police were called to reports of a break in at a bar on the Bull Ring.
The caller reported that an unknown offender had forced entry into the premises after smashing a window.
Once inside they stole a quantity of cash, a Samsung tablet and a CCTV hard drive.
Following enquiries, detectives from Northwich Proactive CID arrested a 49-year-old local man in relation to the incident.
Jonathan Heron, of John Brunner Crescent in Northwich, has since been charged with one count of burglary other than a dwelling.
He has been remanded in custody and is set to appear at Chester Magistrates’ Court today, Tuesday 10th March.
