Knutsford Market Hall’s Morgan Edwards are hosting a wine tasting evening on Friday 9th July in partnership with Knutsford and District Lions to raise money for The Christie Hospital Macclesfield.
The wine tasting, which takes place in the Market Hall, will re-start the market’s events programme as lockdown restrictions ease. The evening will start at 7 pm and guests will enjoy tasting 6 wines, accompanied with some nibbles from The Market Café. There will also be a cash raffle with prizes from the market hall traders and other Knutsford businesses.
Paul Buttrick, chair of Knutsford and District Lions, said, “I am a big fan of the market, especially Morgan Edwards wines and we want to support and raise funds for The Christie Macclesfield. So, why not combine the two? We are really looking forward to the evening, enjoying the wines, raising funds, and getting away from online fund raising at last!”.
Morgan Ward, said, “Paul and the Lions have been great supporters of ours during each lockdown. This is our first wine tasting event for some time, and we cannot wait. If you are not yet familiar with us, then buy some tickets! Our tastings are both informative and informal and it is for a great cause.”
Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased in the Market Hall by visiting Morgan Edwards or by emailing knutsford.lions@gmail.com Numbers are limited to 40 and the event will adhere to any Covid restrictions that may be in place. A full refund will be given in the event of a cancellation due to Covid.
Knutsford Market hall is open on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday and is home to Jonty’s Fruit and Veg, The Market Café, Style Loft Boutique, Slipped Discs, Plastic Free Weigh, The Market Butcher, Morgan Edwards, Greeting Cards and Balloons of Knutsford and Deliveroot.
