An inspiring national celebration of young talent and community heroes is coming to Hartford this spring – and local people are invited to be part of it.
On Saturday 25th April 2026, the Rotary Young Citizen Awards and the national finals of Rotary Young Chef and Rotary Young Musician will come together for one uplifting day at The Grange Theatre in Hartford, Cheshire.
The event will bring together some of the most talented and inspiring young people from across Great Britain and Ireland, showcasing their achievements, creativity and dedication to making a difference.
Visitors will experience a vibrant programme celebrating young people who are shaping the future.
Three exciting national competitions in one event.
Rotary Young Musician
Talented young vocalists and instrumentalists will take to the stage to perform live in front of a national audience. After progressing through heats and regional finals, these finalists represent the very best young musical talent in Great Britain & Ireland.
Rotary Young Chef
Six outstanding young chefs will compete in the national final, creating impressive dishes in a high-pressure cook-off. The audience will see the action and the finished dishes on the big screen as the competitors race against the clock to produce restaurant-quality food.
Rotary Young Citizen Awards
Perhaps the most inspiring part of the day, the awards recognise remarkable young people under 25 who have made a real difference to their communities – from volunteering and fundraising to environmental action and overcoming personal challenges.
Their stories are powerful reminders of what young people can achieve.
A celebration of the next generation
This unique national event combines competition, inspiration and celebration – giving the public the chance to see incredible young talent while recognising the positive impact young people are making in communities across Great Britain & Ireland.
Families, schools, community groups and members of the public are warmly invited to attend and support the finalists.
