Share your views on vehicle idling engines

Cheshire East Council wants to hear your views on vehicle idling engines.

The council is engaging with the local community as part of its commitment to improve air quality in the borough.

A new survey aims to establish people’s general understanding of vehicle idling, as well as highlighting any idling issues in the borough.

Councillor Mick Warren, chair of Cheshire East Council’s environment and communities committee, said: “This survey will help to show people’s understanding of vehicle engine idling and also help us to target effective ways to change behaviour and improve air quality in the borough.

“It’s the council’s ambition to help improve the quality of life for everyone, by reducing car dependency and promoting healthy lifestyles.

“Air quality is important for the health of us all, young and old, so I would urge everyone to take just a handful of minutes to complete the online survey.”

The survey can be completed online from Friday 23 September:
