Award winning charity The End of Life Partnership (EOLP) commemorated a significant milestone as it celebrated its 10th anniversary, with the of Mayor of Cheshire East, Councillor Rod Fletcher.
EOLP, based near Leighton Hospital, works with local communities to support people to talk about the sensitive topics of death, dying, grief and bereavement. Through various initiatives, workshops, and educational campaigns, EOLP has made an impact through empowering individuals and communities to engage in open and honest conversations, fostering understanding and acceptance.
Mayor Rod Fletcher, a staunch advocate for community well-being and inclusivity, expressed his appreciation for the impact has had within Cheshire East.
He remarked:
"EOLP has been helped break down barriers and taboos surrounding death and dying. Their dedication to encouraging compassionate conversations has not only helped transform individual lives but also to strengthen the fabric of our community."
