Handforth, Alderley Edge and Wilmslow Care Community is holding a free Health and Wellbeing fair for all local residents on Saturday, 13th April.
The fair aims to empower local residents with the information they need to be able to look after their own health.
A large variety of stalls will allow residents to interact with many local health and social care services and even get free blood pressure and heart health checks.
Helpers will be on hand to get residents up and running with their NHS App and there will be talks on menopause, heart and mental health as well as ways to lose weight and make small lifestyle changes to achieve big health impacts.
There will be talks about how new professionals at your GP practice can help you even more with your health issues.
The fair is open to the public between 2 and 4PM.
Dr Fari Ahmad, who is the Clinical Director for Chelford Handforth Alderley Edge and Wilmslow Care Community said:
“We are looking forward to welcoming all local residents of Handforth, Alderley, Chelford and Wilmslow to this unique opportunity for them to learn more about services in the area and to empower themselves to look after their own health enabling them to live well for longer”
